Tom - Black Silver Tabby Male Maine Coon Kitten
Tom
Black Silver Classic Tabby Male Maine Coon Kitten
King Connor × Queen Samantha
Born August 25, 2026 • Go-Home Date December 15, 2026
Meet Tom
Tom didn’t exactly require a lengthy naming meeting.
One look at that silvery little face, those big expressive eyes, and his dark tabby markings and somebody had to say it:
Tom.
As in Tom and Jerry.
And once you see it, there’s really no going back.
Tom has that wonderfully serious little face that makes him look as though he’s trying very hard to understand what’s going on around him. His big round eyes take everything in, while those oversized Maine Coon ears seem determined not to miss anything either.
Then there’s his coat.
Tom looks like somebody started with a soft silver kitten and decided he needed a little more drama. Dark lines frame his face, sweep across his forehead, and continue into those bold markings developing over his body.
Even his little nose seems perfectly placed in the middle of it all.
He’s busy doing the important work of kittenhood—eating, playing, exploring, growing, and occasionally stopping long enough to give you a look that suggests something has happened and he would very much like you to know he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
We might have believed him.
There’s just one problem.
We found his Jerry.
His brother.
So now we’re keeping an eye on both of them.
Tom may look like the innocent one, but anyone familiar with Tom and Jerry knows it’s probably best not to make assumptions.
His Color & Markings
Black Silver Classic Tabby
Tom’s professional color and pattern classification is black silver classic tabby.
The silver base of his coat creates beautiful contrast against his darker black tabby markings.
His classic tabby pattern is characterized by broader, flowing markings and swirls across the body rather than the narrow vertical striping seen in a mackerel tabby.
As Tom’s Maine Coon coat grows longer and fuller, the contrast between his silver background and black classic-tabby pattern should become increasingly striking.
Temperament Starts at Home
At Ribbons and Bows Maine Coons, we believe temperament is one of the most important parts of raising a Maine Coon well.
Tom is being raised underfoot in our home in Warsaw, Missouri, and around our daily business, where he is part of everyday life.
He is handled regularly, plays around us, follows our routines, and learns that people, household activity, affection, play, and gentle boundaries are all normal parts of his world.
That close, hands-on start helps prepare him to transition confidently into his new family.
